It's a wonderful resource for healing and personal growth and development. Quite simply, Reiki opens doors. ''Rei'' means universal and ''ki'' is the vital life force energy that flows through living things. Reiki is a pure energy that does no harm. Reiki is not a religion, there is no dogma connected to this healing modality. During a Reiki session, energy is directed to a person by a practitioner. Ideally, we strive to align with the best version of ourselves. We strip away the things that no longer serve us and pursue goals that correspond to our greatest good.
